Home Made Snoot!

Now to be quite honest with you, I had absolutely no idea what a snoot was until Jacqueline Kent told me about it. I didn't even know such a device existed! But I must say, it gives quite a nice effect :D
The sample pictures I took like five minutes ago aren't exactly stunning... but it shows what the snoot does anyways ;P













So it makes the photos super intense and awesome :) I think it even made my brother's intense "W.O.W" face even more intense! ;)


So making this was SO much less invasive than making the soft box. All I had to do here was cut out the bottom of a Pringles can (harder than it looks), and then cut  some slits on the other end so it would fit snugly on my flash. :) 

I think I really need to get someone to help me decorate these things...
Yeah, those things are super sharp D:

    Great Job Emma-Lee, it would be great to see a photo with out the snoot and one with the snoot as a comparison. Great control of light! the decoration could be as simple as black spray paint outside and a roll of tinfoil inside. it will boost the quality and detail of the photo. Very proud of you with your DIY's !

    I thought about doing a comparison, but I got a tid bit lazy haha. When I take a photo with a more creative edge I will do one :).
    Thanks! I'll try and upgrade it a bit tonight. :D
    Also, I finally got a cord that lets me take my flash off of my camera!! :D Super stoked! :)
